Skansen

One of Stockholm´s most popular attractions for tourists, Skansen is a zoo as well as an open- air museum presenting the Swedish rural culture as it was more than a century ago. A walk around this part of Djurgarden will show you traditional Swedish houses, which have been dismantled, taken to Stockholm and painstakingly been rebuilt at the end of the 19th century by Artur Hazelius, various kinds of amusements, animals and a large stage where concerts are held during the summer.
