Scandinavia´s most visited museum is dedicated to the Vasa, perhaps the most ambitious and grandest man- of- war ever built in Sweden, a ship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. Today, after having been salvaged in 1961, it stands in a vast, dimly lit room, strikingly beautiful and remarkably well- preserved. Enjoy a couple of hours in this very impressive museum.
