Cirkus

The Cirkus was built in 1892 mainly in order to present touring circuses at the time. In the past the Cirkus was used for a long period as Swedish Televisions No 1 Studio. Since then, the building has presented many different events. Recently the Swedish equivalent to the Oscars took place here.The exterior and interior have been fully refurbished, carefully maintaining the original design as the building has been declared an historical monument. Cirkus can host up to 1650 seated delegates.
