Drottningholm Slottsteater

Drottningholms Slottsteater was completed in 1766 and rests on the remains of an earlier theatre destroyed by a fire in 1762. At the beginning of the 1920´s the theatre was restored to its original shape. Today, the theatre has acquired a growing international reputation as a festival theatre, with works by Haydn, Handel, Gluck and Mozart. The theatre is listed on the UNESCO´s list of world heritage.
