Lady Hamilton

This is the Bengtsson family´s romantic hotel, locateded on Storkyrkobrinken in the Old Town only a few steps from the Royal Palace. This delightful 4- star hotel, named for the famous naval hero Lord Nelson´s beloved mistress, is a museum in itself, a dramatisation of both Swedish and English history. At the basement level there is something of a cultural treasure − an old well dating back to the 1300s! It was here the residents of the Old Town fetched their water in those days. Today the well is used by the guests for taking a cool dip.
