Tyresta National Park

Visit Tyresta National Park and take a walk through the virgin forest with its 300- year old giant pines. Tyresta is one of the largest virgin forests outside the mountain regions of Sweden and features a wealth of unique plant and animal life.
At Tyresta you will also find Sweden´s National Parks Centre with exhibitions on the entire park system. There are fifty kilometres of walking trails that run through the park. Experience the extensive ancient forest, the lakes with their impressive shoreline cliffs or stroll all the way to the Baltic Sea.
To get there take the bus 807, 809 from the Gullmarsplan subway station or commuter train to Haninge centrum, then transfer to bus 834.
