Ulriksdal Palace was founded in the 17th century and served among other things as the home of Gustaf VI Adolf and Queen Louise. The great living room, furnished by Carl Malmsten, was presented by the people of Stockholm to the royal couple on the occasion of their wedding in 1923.Visit the sculpture museum in the orangery - a joy for both the soul and the senses. Stroll around the castle´s park and then rest your legs in the charming café located in one of the glasshouses. The palace is open for tours from 1 June- 1 September, with tours starting at 12 noon, 1, 2 and 3p.m. During the rest of the year it is open only for pre- booked tours.
